Theater 55 reopens with HAIR

The show that launched Theater 55 three years ago will help us all break free from our stranded lives of last year and usher in a bright new era! The show is presented as an outdoor concert at the Caponi Art Park Amphitheater in Eagan, MN. This bucolic space is a fantastic location for performing and offers ample space for social distancing, blissful dancing and singing with the actors! Lyrics sheets provided to all ticket holders.

Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, along with your own drinks and snacks, or buy the famous Caponi popcorn!

HAIR is the joyful and poignant 1968 rock musical that focuses on a group of politically active hippies in search of truth, peace and love as the country is divided due to the Vietnam War. The tribe seeks to find harmony, love and freedom during the sexual revolution while rebelling against the war and the expectations of family and society. HAIR’s jubilant score is filled with timeless favorites such as “Let the Sun Shine In”, “Easy To Be Hard” and “Aquarius”. HAIR’s themes and struggles remain vital and relevant to the times we live in today. (* sexual themes and language may not be suitable for all ages)
