Aaron Magram Solo http://warriors-of-rock.com The PILL$ were a typical punk band from Saugerties, NY that formed in March of 1995. The original lineup consisted of Aaron Magram on guitar, Michael Crowley on bass, Lucas Milligan on drums, and Ryan Capasso on vocals. The PILL$ reformed in early 1996 without Ryan and with Aaron assuming vocal duties. Since our music was slowly changing and we never really liked our name that much, we decided it would be best to change our name to KADAFI. - (Read more)
Andrew Bird http://andrewbird.net Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist and lyricist Andrew Bird picked up his first violin at the age of 4. Actually, it was a Cracker Jack box with a ruler taped to it, and the first of his many Suzuki music lessons involved simply bowing to the teacher and going home. He spent his formative years soaking up classical repertoire completely by ear, so when it came time for a restless teen-ager to make the jump to Hungarian Gypsy music, early jazz, country blues, south Indian etc., it wasn't such a giant leap. It's fitting that now, though classically trained, he has instead opted to play his violin in a most unconventional manner, accompanying himself on glockenspiel and guitar, adding singing and whistling to the equation, and becoming a pop songwriter in the process. Since beginning his recording career, Andrew has released nine albums: six studio albums, both solo and with his former group the Bowl of Fire, and three live albums. 2007’s Armchair Apocrypha brings the tally to ten. It is an album that sums up where Andrew's career has taken him, yet is very much of his artistic present. - (Read more)
Anthony Congiano http://www.congiano.com/Bushwhacked/Bushwhacked.htm From guitar to keyboards to drums, Anthony Congiano has wrapped himself up in music since an early age. He bounced through many instruments but by the time his High School bands turned to into Club Bands, AC had focused his sites on the guitar. Then borrowing from his earliest song writing inspirations, Anthony concentrated on settings his poetry to music. Today, with original songs featured on both Reaction CD and Rodell Records, along with winning Mcquin's Song of the year with "What a Way to Go" then wowing them at Guitar Armageddon and this year at Speed Thrills, AC proved he can light up the fret board with blazing speed and still carry on merging cutting edge New Millennium Rock n' Roll with Classic Rock influences.
Arashk http://www.arashkband.com/index2.htm Arashk members are eastern minded guys who enjoy western music and try to have their own interpretation of hard/progressive rock. The Goal is not to blend or even reconcile eastern and western music which are ill-advisedly considered detached; but to insist on the evident fact that creativity in music is not culturally bounded. Arashk established at 2001 in Tehran, Iran. It has prepared three albums till now that the album Abrahadabra is now on sale. The band has many instrumental songs as well as songs with vocal. One may choose the term "Pictorial Rock" for these instrumental songs because there have been tried to a painting canvas be represented by them. A painting with much exaggerated details. Salim points that "...I like exaggerated details and very subtle techniques of instrument and when I come across for composing a catchy part in one song I see no reason for repeating it. If someone liked that part, can rewind the song!" Today the digital technology hands possibilities by which any musician with any style finds the opportunity to record his "ideas" with utmost quality in his home-studio. Thus, the gap between subjectivity and objectivity diminishes day-by-day. This band has prepared three albums till now. The first album, Abrahadabra, an instrumental blend, represents the Iranian look toward progressive rock music. However that it is composed in occidental instrumentation, may could uncover the oriental origin of its composer in background. This album has now put on sale on band's website. The second album, Sovereign, is also instrumental and this time the possibilities of electronic music in companion with modern hard-rock instrumentation is being shown. This album is currently being under mastering process. The third album, Roar, is a vocalized hard-rock/metal blend which recites a "message toward every artificial bounds and bindings". Illusions which are being surpassed by the aid of new millennium technology. - (Read more)
