Boys Voice is a pure Rock'n Roll quartet. The four of us are childhood friends and have played together as Boys Voice since 1989/ 90. We started out as a straigt Rock'n Roll band playing covers. Over the years since we started did we develop a taste to put our own "brand" on the cover songs in addition to adding several original songs to our set list. Boys Voice had one of the very few shows at Redrum, Hammerfest in December 2003. That was an incredible gig. After 8 bars of music the packed house was exploding, dancing on tables and reeeeeeally digging in. One of last years definitive higlights. Brooks Williams is a stunningly soulful and blues-soaked guitarist. His musical vision encompasses blues fingerpicking, swingin’ slide, and rootsy flatpicking, and manifests itself in a hybrid of funky chords, walking bass lines, and fiery leads. With influences as diverse as John Fahey, Michael Bloomfield, and Joseph Spence, it is pleasantly difficult to pin Williams down. He’s a guitarist, a songwriter, and an interpreter.
